Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent presentation and taste. Experience in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to menu specifications and food safety standards

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, cooks, and assistants

Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen and food preparation areas

Order and monitor inventory of food supplies, ingredients, and equipment

Collaborate with restaurant management to design and update menus

Monitor kitchen costs, reduce waste, and ensure efficient use of resources

Train new kitchen staff and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards)

Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef (minimum [X] years depending on level)

Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (preferred but not mandatory)

Strong knowledge of international or specific cuisine (e.g., Continental, Arabic, Indian, Asian, Italian, etc.)

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP)

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages a plus)

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in Dubai or the GCC hospitality market

UAE Food Handler’s Certificate or equivalent (preferred)

Experience in hotel kitchens, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants
